Blake’s passion for filmmaking and keen eye for story started at a very young age. His first documentary—at age 12—followed his friends’ journey to the Little League World Series in Williamsport. In the decade following, he shot and edited films for Transworld Media, Red Bull, Jordy Smith, and Carissa Moore before sparking a friendship and partnership with surfing prodigy John John Florence. Shortly after, the duo released their first film DONE, before going on to create View from a Blue Moon—the highest grossing action sports film on iTunes. Over the last five years, Blake shifted his focus to commercial directing for some of the biggest names in advertising: Harley-Davidson, Nike, Samsung, and Valero Energy—among others. In 2019 Blake founded content agency KuenyPearson Content Firm, he works on all phases of partner projects from Content Audits to Content Strategy to story and creation.
